A teacher who suspects cheating by plagiarising is obliged to report this to the University's Disciplinary Board.
In most cases teachers will recognise plagiarism when they see it. As a tool for detecting and counteracting plagiarism in works submitted for marking, teachers use a web-based system for text recognition called Urkund [Original].
Urkund’s [Original] source material is comprehensive and consists of published as well as unpublished texts, especially students’ previous work assignments.
