Before you share a Word document that you worked with in EndNote, it's important that you remove the link between EndNote and Word. The link consists of codes that are not visible and if you do not remove them, you may have problems with formatting your document.
To remove the link, go to the EndNote tab in Word and select Convert to Plain Text.
Save a document, on your own computer, which is still linked with EndNote. Also save a copy without codes (plain text). You can save the copy anywhere and also send it to others, for example via email.
