Research through other libraries

There will always be a library available to you, even in your future professional life!

Swedish university libraries are also open to the public

Swedish university and university college libraries are publicly funded and their collections and premises are also open to private individuals. The exact accessibility regulations vary from library to library, therefore contact your nearest university library to find out what applies there.

Public libraries and interlibrary loans

Public libraries themselves provide both literature and trade journals covering many subjects, but a private individual can also order interlibrary loans from there, for example for research articles which otherwise cannot be found in full text. Your local library will provide you with more information

No unnecessary costs!

As a private individual you can place an interlibrary loan order for books and articles through your local public library. You can of course also buy a book or journal issue privately but the interlibrary loan is very often the much less expensive alternative.
